Part-time Bookkeeper (Iloilo)

Oversees branch financial data and compliance, and records and maintains financial transactions

Location : Iloilo City, Iloilo


Responsibilities

  • Prepare, process, and performs day-to-day recording and consolidating of document for daily check vouchers for bills, expenses, and disbursement payment
  • Prepares payroll journal and check vouchers of the personnel of the branch
  • Prepares canvass papers and requisitions of Medical, Clinical, X-ray, and laboratory supplies needed by the branch
  • Monitors advance preparation of forms and required payments of monthly, quarterly, and annual governmental (BIR, SSS, HDMF, PHIC) requirements and remittances
  • Acts as property and petty cash custodian of the clinic
  • In charge of the electronic way of claims submission to PhilHealth by accredited HCIs
  • Monitors and update records of the required books of accounts such as General Ledger, Journal Book, Receipts, Disbursement, Sales Book, and Purchase Book
  • Ensures accuracy of recorded transactions in the books of accounts

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Business Administration or equivalent
  • Preferably with one year of working experience in a related field, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Must be flexible
  • Good communication skills
  • Can work well in a team and capable of multi-tasking
  • Resourceful, reliable, and responsible
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain strictest confidentiality is a must
